China National Gold Corporation Releases 2015 Social Responsibility Report

Recently, China National Gold Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China Gold") officially released its 2015 social responsibility report. This is the sixth consecutive year that the group company has released a social responsibility report. The Corporate Social Responsibility Research Center of the Economics Department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted an independent evaluation of the report. The comprehensive rating result is five-star, which is an excellent social responsibility report.
Starting from the five aspects of responsibility gold, value gold, peace gold, green gold and happiness gold, the report shows the themes of responsibility governance, safety management, environmental protection, employee responsibility and so on. It fully demonstrates the social responsibility practice of China National Gold Group Corporation in the aspects of economy, safety, employee care, community co-construction, energy conservation and emission reduction, and fully reflects the "development of limited resources" of China Gold, the corporate purpose of "meeting social needs" and the social responsibility of central enterprises.
Song Xin, general manager and party secretary of China National Gold Corporation, said in his speech that China National Gold Corporation adheres to the concept of "shared development", unswervingly implements social responsibilities, and allows all employees to share the fruits of corporate reform and development. On the one hand, there are multiple channels and multiple measures to care for employees: maximize the improvement of the working environment, pay attention to the pioneering spirit of employees, and ensure that the golden ideas and good suggestions of the employees can be implemented in production practice; 18 companies have established 25 labor model studios, Labor skills competitions have been held for many years to mobilize and stimulate the innovation and entrepreneurial potential of all employees, so that the employees and the enterprise can develop together and win the future. On the other hand, we always adhere to the concept of "developing one side and benefiting one side", focus on developing the local economy, systematically carry out public welfare undertakings, and strive to make positive contributions to local stable growth and employment.
Since the launch of social responsibility work, China National Gold Corporation has attached great importance to it and achieved a series of outstanding results. The social responsibility report has been rated as a five-star by the Corporate Social Responsibility Report Rating Committee of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for three consecutive years. In the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility (2015), the group company's social responsibility development index won a five-star evaluation; the group company, in cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, has completed and released the first domestic guideline for the compilation of social responsibility reports for subdivided industries, "Guidelines for the Compilation of Corporate Social Responsibility Reports 3.0 in the General Mining Industry". As a practical case of the guideline, "Responsibility begins with practice and converges with reports-China Gold Group's social responsibility report management" has guided and driven the development of social responsibility work in the industry; the practical cases of corporate social responsibility of the group are respectively included in the Global Compact China Network Yearbook and the Basic Teaching Material of Corporate Social Responsibility; the case of China Gold: Developing Limited Resources to Meet Social Needs is included in the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility (2015); three enterprises of Hubei Sanxin, Inner Mongolia Wushan and Tibet Jiama have been awarded the demonstration base of corporate social responsibility of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and as a practical case published in the Blue Book of Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; "Shaanxi Taibai Company Geological Environment Comprehensive Management Project", "Construction of" Six Systems ", Construction of Intrinsically Safe Mines" and other cases, were awarded by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission As "Excellent Social Responsibility Practice of Central Enterprises".
